Is it a Buyers’ or Sellers’ Market?

|
| The property market is always in a state of flux, sometimes being favorable to buyers and at other times to sellers. Currently many buyers in their property quest on the North Coast appear to be under the impression that it is now a “Buyers” market. However, on closer inspection, this is not entirely true within Ballito and the surrounding areas.
Strictly speaking a Buyers’ market is when the supply of homes on the market exceeds the number of buyers; when sales prices are shrinking; and when homes are selling more slowly.
Apart from the pace of sales in certain sub-markets, none of this is overtly evident in the broader market, and it is our view that we currently enjoy a fairly healthy and balanced local property market.... |
